Complaints

We want to put things right if we get them wrong. Here is how to raise a complaint about the Shore Kirk Weekly Lottery, and how to take it further if you are not satisfied.

  1. Tell us

Email [email protected] with the subject "Complaint", write to the Lottery Office, The Shore Kirk, 34 Sandhaven, Sandbank, Dunoon, Argyll PA23 8QN, or use our contact form. Please include your name, postcode, Lottery Number if you have one, what went wrong and what you would like us to do.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and send you a full response within 10 working days. If we need longer, we will explain why and give you a date.

  2. Ask for a review

If you are not happy with our response, ask for it to be reviewed within 2 months. Your complaint will be looked at afresh by the Session Clerk and two elders of the Kirk Session who were not involved. We will send our final response within 20 working days.

  3. Take it further

If you remain unhappy after our final response, you can contact the appropriate independent body below.

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

Approved ADR schemes apply to operators licensed by the Gambling Commission. As a small society lottery registered with our local council, we are not covered by an ADR provider, so complaints escalate to Argyll and Bute Council instead.
